Please describe your roleplaying experience. I've roleplayed at another community and this one for about 9 months now. This will be my 2nd teacher character and I also play 2 students.

How are you as a player equipped to prepare lessons on your character's chosen subject? I plan to use the canon info provided in the books and the Lexicon to prepare lessons.

Character Name: Arthur Kincaid MacAlaister
Character's Former House: Gryffindor
Subject Taught: Transfiguration

Character's Physical Appearance: Tall and handsome for an older man. Played body is Sean Connery.

Character's Magical and Personal Strenths and Weaknesses (please note that your character must have an equal magical weakness to balance out his/her skill in the subject they teach): He is, of course, very gifted at Transfiguration. He studied and became a registered animagus some years after leaving school. He transforms into a white wolf. He was adequately skilled in Potions and Charms to pass his NEWTs in those areas and go on to become an Auror after school. He is very skilled in DADA, having had lots of field experience with it as an Auror and member of the Order.

Character's Bloodline (Pure, Half, Muggle): Muggleborn. He'd never even heard of the magical world before he got his letter.

Character's Personal/Professional Background/History(character background MUST include how he/she acquired his/her knowledge in their chosen subject. If your character is professing to be a master or expert in a subject, you must detail how exactly that knowledge was gained. It must be believable in terms of HP canon): Arthur achieved 7 NEWTs (DADA, Potions, Charms, Transfiguration, Arithmancy, Care of Magical Creatures, and Astronomy), receiving his highest scores on the DADA, Transfiguration, and COMC exams. After his exam results came back, he enrolled in Auror training. After several years of hard training, he became a full Auror with the Ministry and when the war with Voldemort started up, he joined the Order, doing everything he could to defeat the thread. He has trained several younger Aurors during his time with the Ministry and it is this love of teaching others that has led him to finally look to teaching as a career. He's heard of the vacancy from his old friend Simon Harding and decided to give it a try. In the time since the war ended, Arthur has taken some much needed vacation time and done a little traveling, both for the Ministry and for his own pleasure, but he's starting to get a little bored with that and heading to Hogwarts seems like just the adventure he needs. He never married, being far too busy with the war effort and his career to entertain notions of serious relationships.
